On June 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. E.T (12 p.m. MT, 11 p.m. PT)., the Office of Juvenile Justice and
Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) will present the Webinar, “Understanding
and Overcoming the Challenges Faced by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender,
Questioning and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth in Schools and Communities.”
Presenters will discuss the importance of changing perceptions, practices, and
culture to address the needs of these underserved youth. Future webinars will
discuss LGBTQI youth and their families and LGBTQI youth in juvenile justice
settings.
